Not sure what to choose? A simple rule: if you mostly want to unwind, go for oil or aromatherapy. If you have sore muscles from walking, a long flight or the gym, Thai or deep tissue does more work.

If one of you has never had a Thai massage, say so. The therapist will explain the stretches as she goes and keep the pressure gentle at first.

Making Room for Two

Two people need two surfaces. A large double or king bed fits two people lying next to each other with a therapist on each side, and twin beds are ideal. In a smaller room, one of you can use the bed and the other a sofa bed. Mention the bed setup in the chat and we will plan around it.

Two visitors arriving together is perfectly normal at a Bangkok hotel or condo. Each therapist can give her name at reception, and some buildings ask visitors for ID. If your lift needs a key card, one quick trip down to the lobby solves it.

Keep two towels handy, one for each of you, and dim the lights a little. The therapists bring everything else.

When and Where
