Foot Massage in Bangkok, in Your Room

Bangkok is a city you see on foot, and by the evening your feet know it. Book a massage focused on the feet and legs, and a therapist comes to your hotel room or condo, usually in about 30 minutes.

A Massage for Feet That Walked All Day

Temples, markets, malls, long skywalks and hot pavements: a day in Bangkok can easily mean twenty thousand steps. The soles ache, the ankles swell a little in the heat and the calves feel heavy. A foot-focused massage is the quickest way back to normal.

There is no separate foot massage on our menu. Instead, book a Thai or oil massage and ask for the session to centre on the feet and legs. Your therapist spends most of the time there: pressure points on the soles, the ankles and the tops of the feet, then the calves and the thighs, finishing with the lower back, where tired legs often pull.

Thai or Oil for Your Feet

Tell us in the chat that you want the focus on your feet, and remind her when she arrives. Mention blisters, a sprained ankle or any swelling that worries you, and she will work around it.

  • Thai, with no oil: firm thumb pressure on the points of the sole, the way it is done in Thai foot shops, plus stretches for tight calves and hips.
  • Oil or coconut oil: long, warm strokes up the legs that ease swelling and heaviness, softer and more soothing.
  • 60 minutes is plenty for feet and legs. With 90 minutes she can add the back, shoulders and neck.

On the Bed or in the Armchair

A foot massage is the easiest massage to have in a hotel room. You can lie on the bed, with her sheet over the hotel linen, or sit back in the armchair or on the sofa with your feet raised. Either way, keep a towel within reach.

A quick rinse of the feet before she arrives is welcome after a day outside, and a glass of water afterwards helps.

After a Flight, After a Run, After the Markets

Long-haul flights leave the feet and ankles puffy and the legs stiff. A gentle oil massage focused on the legs, soon after you check in, helps them feel lighter. Our guide to massage after a long flight has more ideas for the first night.

Runners in Lumphini or Benjakitti Park, and anyone who spent the day at the weekend market, tend to prefer the Thai version, firmer and with stretches for the calves. Whatever your reason, the booking is the same: one message, a fixed price, cash at the end.

Prices and Areas

A foot-focused session is priced as the massage you choose: Thai or oil, for 60, 90 or 120 minutes, at the fixed prices shown below and on our massage price list. There is no extra charge for the focus.

We come to hotels and condos across central Bangkok, up to roughly 7 km from Nana and Asok, including Siam and Pratunam, Sukhumvit, Silom, the riverside and Chinatown. Transport is included in central areas.

Questions

Can I get a foot massage in my hotel room in Bangkok?

Yes. Book a Thai or oil massage and ask for the focus on your feet and legs. A therapist comes to your room, usually in about 30 minutes.

Is there a foot massage on the Nirin menu?

Not as a separate item. A foot-focused session is booked as a Thai or oil massage, at the same fixed price, with the time spent on the feet and legs.

How long should a foot massage be?

60 minutes is enough for the feet, calves and legs. Choose 90 minutes if you want the back and shoulders done as well.

Can I have a foot massage sitting in a chair?

Yes. Sit back in the armchair or on the sofa with your feet raised, or lie on the bed, whichever you prefer.

Is a foot massage good after a long flight?

Yes. A gentle oil massage on the feet and legs eases swelling and heaviness, and many guests sleep better afterwards.
